Open your Microsoft Outlook and click on the File
menu…

Click on the Account Changes button...

Pick Account Settings from the drop-down
list...

Highlight your IUL mail account (usually username@iul.net) and then click on the Change button...

Verify that the username field contains your full
email address including the @iul.net part (ie. tuser@iul.net), un-check the
Test Account Settings option and then click on
the More settings button…

Click on the Outgoing Server tab and verify
that My outgoing server (SMTP) requires authentication is checkmarked and
that Use same settings as my incoming mail server is selected…

Click on the Advanced tab and make sure that
the Outgoing server (SMTP) port is set to 587, then click on the
OK button…

Click on the Next button...

Finally click on the Finished button.
